Designed for high-temperature backup applications, the PowerSafe SBS XL battery delivers a 20 year design life at 77°F (20°C) or a 10 year design life at 95°F (35°C). This innovative line offers true cost savings to operators by reducing both cooling and maintenance requirements. EnerSys SBS XL Series batteries are ideal for Telecommunications, Central Office, Utilities and Switchgear, Substations, and CATV/Broadband applications.

• Designed for operation at high temperatures in float applications with a wide operating temperature range of -40°F to 149°F (-40°C to 65°C)
• Designed for use in cabinets or on stands, close to the point of use; separate battery room is not required

• Up to 2-year shelf life due to low rate of self-discharge

• Container and Lid - UL94 V-0 rated flame retardant Polycarbonate (PC) - ABS material, highly resistant to elevated temperatures, shocks, and vibrations
• Self-regulating Pressure Relief Valves - prevent ingress of atmospheric oxygen
• Flame Arrestors - built into each bloc for increased operational safety
