EnerSys PowerSafe VB Series batteries are vented lead-acid 2 volt cells that were designed for power supply applications with high safety requirements such as power stations and substations, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, industrial systems, emergency power supply systems, and other critical power applications. They offer high energy density, long life, low maintenance, and flexible performance while handling both short duration discharges with high current and long duration discharges with low current. The VB Series batteries have special rod plates and earthquake-proof cell construction ensure durability while the extended watering intervals reduce service costs.
