The CSN30C12V-E Outdoor CyberPower CyberShield FTTx System provides cable telephony, wireless local loop (WLL) and fiber to the home (FTTH) providers with a dependable, cost effective local power supply for customer premise(s) and equipment (CPE). CyberShield provides the Multiple Service Operator (MSO) with a local powering solution that has lower installation, operational and service costs than competing power technologies.
Designed for outdoor installation, the CyberShield allows service providers easy access to the power supply and battery. Outdoor mounting eliminates the need to schedule a service appointment and a subscriber to enter a residence or business location.
The CSN30C12V-E keeps network communications, including telephone, up and running during power outages.
The unit functions as a battery backup supplying continuous 12Vdc to locally power network interface units.
