SCLFP48100-3U is a powerful 48V 100AH Lithium Ion (LiFePO4) battery model specifically designed to provide battery backup for rack or cabinet telecom sites. Its modular design enables parallel installation to meet the needs of longer backup times. Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry is one of the safest lithium batteries sold in the stationary market.


The SCLFP48100-3U is a one hundred ampere hour (100AH) battery that has a market leading low profile that measures only 5 ¼ inches of vertical rack height (3U) in the slender 19" wide mounting. The total weight is only 91.5 pounds making it easy to install with an industry first flexible mounting system.  The mounting battery can be mounted in a 19" or 23" rack with multiple position mounting strip to vary the front location to match your cabinet.

48V 100AH LITHIUM ION BATTERIES DESIGNED FOR PERFORMANCE

  • Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) is used as positive material, which offers extended cycle life and one of the safest chemistries
  • SCLFP battery will provide 4000 – 9000 cycles depending on depth of discharge and ten times the cycles of traditional lead acid
  • Modules can be paralleled to provide additional current for longer backup times
  • Embedded BMS offers voltage, current, temperature protection and alarm functions, and the BMS can communicate with other devices by Modbus protocol.
  • Embedded BMS unit measures voltage, current, cell surface temperature and the ambient temperature of the battery.
  • A secondary cut-off protection provides an extra measure of safety, and when the voltage is too low the system will cut off the support from the battery to protect the battery service life

Finally, a lithium solution which provides a return on your investment (ROI). The greatest advantage of lithium is the life span. The SCLFP battery will provide 4000 – 9000 cycles depending on depth of discharge while lead acid is typically done after 400 to 900 cycles. Our SCLFP provides ten times the cycles but no where near ten times the cost.


Total cost of ownership is even more incredible when factoring in the labor to install multiple AGM battery strings relative to just one of these long-lasting lithium battery modules. The modules can be paralleled to provide additional current as applications demand more power or when increased backup time is required.
