The DataSafe® CX-M battery is an economical multi-cell flat plate battery. The CX-M unit is optimized for high performance and provides excellent short duration discharge rates.

The DataSafe CX-M battery now features the Slide-Lock™ post seal design. The DataSafe CX-M battery features a larger copper insert in the Slide-Lock post. The number of plates and plate thickness are optimized with respect to the available electrolyte ensuring maximum performance during short duration discharges.

The DataSafe CX-M battery was designed for easier maintenance since all the posts and connectors reside above the cell cover; maintenance routines, including individual cell monitoring and intercell resistance measurements are simplified. The economical design and footprint, combined with Slide-Lock post and excellent performance in short duration discharges makes this an ideal battery in UPS and switchgear applications

We understand that data centers are heavily reliant on batteries for backup power. We also understand that batteries must be redundant and if only one battery in your UPS configuration is not performing; it compromises your overall backup power. Our experience and our focus is to know the batteries and their implication for your operation. We will partner with you, analyze your critical power needs and construct the backup power solution that will perform as designed.

We can remove and recycle your old battery system then install, properly set up and test your new system. We have been installing stationary batteries for over 20 years. We have the experience, equipment and capabilities to safely perform this type of work.

Routine maintenance ensures your UPS equipment stays reliable, improving your UPS’s overall performance and extending their useful life. Service plans allow customers to be proactive; providing opportunity to detect potential points of failure preventing expensive problems.

When ordering new batteries, also remember to properly recycle your old lead batteries. Federal and state regulations require lead-acid batteries be recycled. Power Storage Solutions’ nationwide service organization can arrange pickup, transportation to and recycling at any one of our company affiliated smelters.
