Darlene Drey-Jablonowski!
Darlene is one of our many talented regional administrative coordinators based out of our Detroit office.
- How long have you worked in the industry and how long have you been with us?
- Oh my. I have been around way too long to own up to the exact number of years in the industry, but I started with PowerCare in 2007. Then, moved over to Power Storage Solutions at their inception. I will be forever grateful for Terry Cummings, Steve Baker, & Derrick Elledge for taking that leap, having faith, and keeping our team together.
- Where did you grow up and where are based now?
- I grew up in Dearborn Heights, Michigan and currently live in the neighboring city of Garden City, Michigan.
- Tell us about your educational background, family life, and hobbies outside of work.
- I guess you could say community service has been a way a life for me and my family. I have served as an advocate for children with special needs for 25 years. This lead me to serve on the Garden City Public Schools Broad of Education and am currently in my 16th year. I have earned my Master Diamond Certification in School Board Education, which is an accomplishment that I am immensely proud of. I also currently serve as the Executive Director of Graceful Journey Community Methodist Church, which caters to our Special Needs Community & their families. My husband Frank & son Connor are an exceptional source of support, pitching to help whenever needed & enabling me to tackle of all these endeavors.
- Tell us about one of your biggest successes with a customer and/or within the organization.
- It has been my honor to serve as a trainer and mentor to our newest team member, Claire Arthur-Latawiec. She has been a phenomenal addition to our team. Another one of my passions is troubleshooting. I love being able to track down answers and get needed information to our customers. We have a great team here at Power Storage Solutions! Everyone is ready to jump in to help get things done, and make things right for our customers.
- What are 3 words that describe you?
- Energetic
- Responsible
- Sincere
- Before working at Power Storage Solutions, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
- For a time, I was privileged to work at The Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village. It has such wonderful history and visitors come from all over the world to tour the facilities.
- In your opinion, what makes a good salesperson?
- Paying attention to detail. It is often the little things that make that connection for a customer.
- What’s the most unique part about working here?
- I would have to say the comradery within our staff. We are really more like a family than just fellow employees. My co-workers are a constant, reliable source of information and support.
